Would anyone mind posting a their study schedule for boards Part I? Do you think four weeks is enough time to study for the exam and do well?

Thanks!

there is no such "best schedule"
but hey.. dis is just an advise.. how much have u finished? are u a new grad? international grad? or already doin ur dds?
well dependin on u being in touch or out of touch wid ur subjects and also d fact dat "whether u have already booked a date for ur exam?"
anyhw here's sum scheule for a 4 week prep:
week 1: dental decks revision 1 (word to word)
week 2: old papers (pay attention to the choices which u eliminate and try to link dem wid possible ques fr which dey cud b d answer)
week 3: any marked imp topics/ high yield topics frm ur texts/lecture notes + 2 hours daily sdn forum questions
week 4: dental decks ( marked as REVISE in ur first reading) + QUES PPRS (as many as u can)..

jus a suggestion..
btw i havent given nbde myself but readin so mny posts and tryn to undrstan d type of ques dat turn up..

what works best for some may be worst for others....but this is what I did and would recommend for anyone who learns like I do

Day 1-3 : Gross/Histo- read Kaplan subject books, textbooks, class notes during the day (because it had been over a year since I took those courses). Followed up with an hour of review questions and an hour of decks at night.

Day 4-6 : Phys/Bioc - same format as above

Day 7-9 : Path/Micro - same format as above

Day 10 : Dental Anat. - review class notes, decks, 50 review questions (i personally found this subject the easiest to study so I only spent one day on it....it all came back very quickly...and it was also the easiest on the actual test for me too)

Day 11-17 : Went through the decks and First Aid books....I marked certain cards and pages/subjects in the books that I thought were especially important or I didn't have an adequate grasp on and would come back to them later

Last Week or so I reviewed the marked pages and decks and took a lot of old test questions. I also took notes on some subjects along the way and reviewed these (like enzymes, diseases, antibiotics/fungals...etc).
