Hi everyone. I took the NBDE Part 2 about 6 months ago and did not do well on the 2nd day Case Study Questions. A common thread of questions that I got a lot on were having to do with the EPT and vitality test, and knowing the condition of the tooth, as far as its periapical diagnosis/pulpal dx. I knew the decks fairly well, but was confused on how to answer these questions. Hot, cold, acute apical, chronic apical... the decks didn't seem to help me and were too general and these questions popped up everywhere and I got confused...
if someone who recently took the exam or just has a better understanding of how to answer these questions, and remembers the endo case type questions... could give me some insight, I would be one happy guy... also, I have been looking for some recommendations for sources other than the decks... any recommendations? I have the Kaplan, First Aid NDBE II, 2007 Decks, and I just don't feel ready... thank you in advance!
