Hey guys, would appreciate your opinions.

I have 7 days left of study and 674 questions left on UWorld.

I'm debating whether to do one (vs two) full length practice exams and whether to use UWorld or an NBME exam. It seems that people say that NBME 2 is most representative of your actual score, but that they aren't as predictive as they were for step 1. I'd honestly rather not spend the extra money, but if people think it's really worthwhile, maybe I should.

Also, how many days before the real exam should I do the full length practice exam? I want to be conditioned but not burnt out...

I was considering taking a full length test 4 days before the actual exam, and then continuing to do 100-150 questions a day until the day before the test, just to keep in the mode of doing questions.

Thanks in advance.

I took one the other day. It was ok i guess. the breakdown at the end (showing what you are weak in) is not as comprehensive as world is...so I couldn`t really use it to focus my studies. I doubt I will do another one, but for 45 bucks, if you don:t have any other questions to do, then it might be worth your time.

I didn't bother with NBME exams for this one.

If you've taken shelf exams for your rotations, you should have a very good idea of what the questions are going to be like.

Thanks for your advice.

Did you take a full length practice test with UW, then? Or just do sets of questions.

So, I ended up doing a full length practice exam with UW two days ago. And I've decided to do an NBME exam tommorrow, since I have no more questions left, and I feel up to it. Today and Tues are study days, then Wed is the big exam. (i may just quit studying tues if I feel freaked out, it all depends).

i find a day before the exam of doing nothing or just light touching up really helpful as it recharges your batteries
