Is anyone having problems logging into the NBOME website? This is two nights in a row this happened... Yesterday I was going to take a practice exam and it wasn't allowing me to log in but today I was able to log in, complete about 50 questions of the COMSAE and then it stopped working....

Hi there. My name is Mary Coyle and I am the Communications Director for the NBOME. I have to apologize on our behalf because we have been having some diffuculty with our COMSAE admistration. We are working to fix the problem and hope to have everything fixed in the very near future.

I try to keep tabs on this site to stay up to speed on the issues that student doctors are facing with respect to the NBOME and COMLEX-USA. Please feel free to email me directly at [email protected] and I will work to get your issues addressed by the appropriate folks in our organization, asap.

All the best,

Mary

Mary,

Thank you for your prompt reply. Sorry for the profanity, I have since edited my post but I had to vent my frustration. I'm currently working 12 hour days and attempting to prepare for the COMLEX but coming home at night and finding that resources that students have paid for become unavailable for extended periods of time without communication via your home page makes things frustrating. I have no doubt that the NBOME is working to correct these issues but a status message would be helpful just to inform students that you are aware of the problem and are working to fix it. One of the most important aspects of the physician-patient relationship is communication and I'll admit I should have done a better job of communicating my frustration with the NBOME rather than lashing out and going on a rant.

Again I thank you for looking into this matter

The site has been down repeatedly the past week and maybe more. I just signed on to take a comsae and its down again. I called the number and got a we are working on it and don't know when it will be up. This seems like a really inopportune time to be installing a new system or updating a system since its the busiest time of the year for people taking the comlex.
This is beyond frustrating. I feel like we should all be given a free comsae for our grief.
