Has anyone started on the NCSU supplemental application yet? I'm having a dreadful time coming up with something I'm passionate about other than vet med. Are you all (and those who have come before) writing about one thing specifically or several topics? Serious or funny and ironic? Animal related or totally avoiding it as it's so close to vet related?
Also, I've come to the conclusion that I have no "unique skills and talents that will contribute to the NCSU class of 2014." I can milk out a goat in less than two minutes and extemporaneously sew everything from livestock jackets to prom dresses, does that count?
Okay, end rant now :poke:

I believe the idea is for students to have an outlet to destress that they love and/or to be multidimensional individuals. There was a LOT of emphasis this past week during orientation and first classes on taking time away from the whole vet school thing to recharge, rest, recuperate regularly doing other things you enjoy. To that end, I think there are people in our class that included dog sports, various fitness activity, music, techie interests, dance, art, etc.

So, if you like sewing....if sewing clicks for you (instead of driving you insane as it does me) then it could be a viable option.
