NDBE I Bioch Question

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Isnt it alpha 1-4 between glucose residues?😕
alpha 1-6 are at the branch points.

Can anybody answer this please
One strand of DNA double helix is 20% A,30% T & 40 % C.What is the percentage of C on the other strand?
1. 10
2. 20
3. 50
4. 80
5. 90
Also could anybody how to calculate it?
Thanks

My guess would be 10%...

20%A 30%T and 40%C =total of 90%, so the rest (10%)of that strand must be G.
So since the first strand has 10% G, the complementary strand much have 10% C.

as far as the question about linkage in glycogen molecule is concerned ....
its alpha 1,4 linkage between glucose molecules and at the branching its alpha 1,6 linkage

the cytosine in complementary strand is 10% 👍
