Curious to know how does a choice of NDC will effect a store's reimbursement rate. I don't understand why sometimes I see drugs from multiple mftrs in the shelves when they can just get the cheapest one.

Which NDC is cheaper changes over time, so you end up with multiples. Plus the same NDC isn't always available so sometimes you take what's available.

This is pretty much the bane of any pharmacists existence. I wish i owned stock in those green aux stickers

For every generic, there are 15 brands, each brand has 10 pack sizes, and all except 2 NDCs cost $20 more than MAC. Oh, and the cheapest manufacturer is on backorder, so you have to buy a more expensive one and take a loss on it. And poor Mrs. Smith is allergic to oblong shapes, so you have to order her the special round tablets, which cost an additional $50/#30. But then this month it's cheaper to get the bottles of #100 instead of the #90s, so you have to make sure you don't mix those up. Whoops, the wholesaler is out of those now too, now you're stuck with unit dose blister packs.
