Thank you for the early congrats - but I won't get my hopes up..I'm glad to see that you guys have more confidence in me, than I! I really don't think you have to panic if you didn't get it. Perhaps this is a perfect time to call and see if they have your correct contact info as Swampman said. It'd be a perfectly legitimate reason. Anyway, everything is still so screwy there - they still don't have my verified amcas app and last friday I called to see if they had some material that I had recently sent in - the person was real nice but said that they couldn't look right now because files were like all over the place - or something like that. Here's a copy of the email. At the bottom of the email it says that attendance is required for some of the lectures - I wonder if that would be looked favorable upon if you're an applicant....wishful thinking
Good luck to everyone!
Dear Applicants:
Although many of you live or attend school far away from Einstein, I would
like to apprise you of a series of lectures, organized by our students, on
social medicine. The lectures began on January 9th and will run every week
until May 1. They are held here at the Bronx Campus, fifth floor lecture
hall in the Forchheimer Building and are scheduled from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. on
Wednesday evenings.
If you would like to attend any of the lectures, please contact Ms. Dahlene
Fusco via email at
[email protected].
We would welcome your attendance at any lecture that you would like to
attend.
If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you.
