I am taking the beast on June 9th. Here are my stats so far:

NBME 1: 500 (219) before I started studying.
NBME 2: 520 (224) halfway through my month of studying. (I thought I would have done better here, but didn't)
Random 50Q Q-Bank: 72 average over last 500 Qs. (QBANK finished+some)
Full length Kaplan test: 71% yesterday.
Robbins Qbook: 75-80% usually.

I have finished studying each subject independently and I have done 1st Aid once completely and re-read the pertinent chapters as I did that subject.

My problem is deciding what I should do for the next 8 days to really help get my score up. I don't have any particular weak area, I score about the same in everything.

-Do 1st Aid a couple times.
-Do Robbins Qbook
-Webpath questions
-Keep re-doing QBank questions
-Do Goljans HY Notes (100 + 36) and know them cold
-Focus in on a couple of subjects like Micro or Pharm where I may be able to get some points.
-Try and lose my addiction to this site (it has been very helpful though)

Thanks for any input, and good luck to everybody!

I think you're already on your way to a high score! Your plan looks good. I am also taking my exam on the 9th....and I'm definitely not ready. 😳

Have you already finished robbins review book? If not then, finish it. If yes then maybe kaplan qbook can be finished in about 4 days doing 200 questions a day. Also go over FA over and over again. I don't think there is much benefit in doing qbank again. Just my 2 cents.

I haven't finished Robbins Qbook yet, so I will do that. Thanks LD.

Good Luck JayZ.

Anybody think that Goljan's HY Notes or the various "Questions Remembered" would be beneficial.

Preciate it.

I'm taking the test on June 8th.

I'm doing the following:
Robbins question book (this book rules!)
Reading chunks of first aid
Qbank questions AGAIN but am not spending more than 3 hours per day on the questions

I may do Goljan's questions...don't know about reading the 100 pages or so of high yield

Shocker,

You've done a great job, your NBME scores are high up there. I would recommend that you only stick to FA from here on out, it's a bit too late to start with Goljan.... Although I think he is the GOD of Pathology, but it's too late in the game IMO of course. Make sure you complete Robbins Review, and go over FA everyday. Since you have 9 days left, it wouldn't be so bad to read over BRS Path in 3 days, cover FA from morning till after noonish, then at around 8-11 cover BRS path for 3 days, and after that nothing but FA over and over again until you turn blue.

Best of luck.
