I am about to take step 2 in 6 days, and am starting to stress out. I only gave myself 2 weeks to study for the exam...which I know was cutting it close, but I figured I'd be ok b/c I did well on step 1......I'm not sure if residencies will look at my score, i've already gotten all my interviews.....but now that its close i'm getting kind of worried. I'm working my butt off, but really the only thing I can attempt to do is finish 80-90% of USMLE world (once). Right now i've done about 50%, and read part of USM

My score right now is 63% on USMLE world, I made a 249 on step 2.

Would you take the exam if you were me? I really dont want to postpone as i dont really know when else I have time to take it!

are you taking an elective or have 2 full weeks off? even if you have half days @ work, 2 wks is definitely plenty of time to make it through 80%, if not all of UW. i did 80% of UW in one week. anyway, you have a solid step1 score, so you should do well on CK, too. good luck!!

If you got 249 on Step 1, then unlikely you'll do terrible on Step 2, unless you just spent 6 months cramming for Step 1 or something.

Your Step 2 score won't matter that much if not doing a competitive specialty.
If trying to match into something like derm, optho, radiology, etc. then doing pretty well is more important (but 230 or above should be fine unless it's rad onc or something).
