Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum.I have applied to podiatry school this year and didn't get accepted. I am thinking of doing post bac. Is there any SMP program for me? I need to improve my science GPA. What is best option for me?

Thanks

If you still want to do POD school I would do the BMS degree at Barry University. There are two benefits 1 they have a POD propgram and 2 some of the classes you take for the masters are the same classes for POD and carry over. Another plus its in the MIA nice weater all year around. After excelling in the program you should be able to get in the POD program. I did the BMS and finished, but my goal was MD school which I got into. Some people I know could not get into med or dental school stayed and did the POD program, and are happy with theie choice

The College of Health Professions as a one year MS in Biomedical Sciences, which includes four medical school(M.D.) courses. RFU also has a podiatry school.

I don't think any SMP or SMP-like program strictly allows only pre meds. Apply and explain your future goals, etc.

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving.
