Is it possible or not to make CHANGES on your personal statement if you are applying to ONE school just to get verified, but this school isnt your top choice so AFTER your MCAT (27th), you will make the changes on the personal statement on AMCOMS and submit to the SCHOOLs you actually are looking to attend. I keep on searching for a proper answer but I am getting no where. Does anyone have any experience with this and if so how did you do it.

AACOMAS will know better, but if you could change your PS, why are there tons of threads talking about how "I made a mistake on my PS, I just want to cry, do you think I will be rejected?" Changing something in your app like your volunteer hours because you added more is not the same as changing your PS. I don't think you can do anything with your PS after you submit.

just wait for AACOMAS to respond...you seem to want someone to tell you its ok, since Stok told its not and you don't seem convinced.

also...a correctly written PS won't need to be changed. Thats what secondaries are for. Good luck though

In my experience AACOMAS has always replied to emails in a day. Hopefully OP you can get an answer soon.

I'd consider myself "experienced" by all standards. Plus, why would they let you change it after you submit? Would there be a limit on the amount of times you could change it or would there be a one time policy? Once you submit, you are saying that you've proofread and you're ready to send off your app. They may allow it, but I'd be very surprised.

you can actually update your work experiences and EC's(maybe a few other sections...but not coursework and I don't think PS either, of course)

...then your application says revised and shows the schools the sections you've updated

Innnnnnteresting. I've been dying to start verification but my PS isn't quite up to snuff yet. Now I can get it out by the weekend (assuming I have my next draft ready by then)
