Hello fellow SDNers.

I am thinking of taking a class called Industrial Biotechnology and the Environment. It is a senior level science course, but it is under the department of Bioproducts & Biosystem Engineering.

However, under the class search at my university it is listed as an Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management course.

Would that be considered a BCPM course?

Thank you for all your help.

P.S: According to THIS it would not count as a BCPM, but I don't know how accurate that list is.

I've been through the same thing. The short answer is no it does not count toward BCPM GPA. It is an engineering course. Sorry for being blunt but thats how the man at AMCAS explained it to me.

You are not being blunt at all. I just thought it would be a fun/easy class to take and improve my science GPA from it.

I have another class lined up. Senior level microbiology. The material is more difficult but it will surely count toward BCPM GPA.

Thank you for your help, Andrewsmack05.
