Need help in differentiating east coast programs

Throughout the interview trail it became apparent that many of the east coast programs seemed very similar (i.e. curriculum, perks, clinical settings). Besides the obvious differences like children’s hospital versus not or intern class size what aspects of some programs did you discover that will help distinguish them?
