Currently, I'm a Senior, graduating next semester (Spring 2010) with a B.A. in African Studies. I'm taking General Bio 1 and Gen Chem 1 in the same semester and doing HORRIBLE in both classes (averaging a C and a D). I like all aspects of dental school, but I think undergrad at my school for sciences is CRAZY. 🙁 i feel so discouraged, but i think i chose doing sorority stuff over science this semester. I was hoping to just graduate next semester, and take a post bacc at Hunter or some other school in NYC that is not too difficult with sciences, yet i still have the time to study (since i graduated already). my adviser said it was a good idea. Also, my overal gpa is pretty ok, around a 3.45, but the science gpa is horrible. oh yes, and i figured since i'm asian my major would be pretty interesting to explain since most people are bio or chem majors. 🙂 PLEASE HELP!!!

I definitely think taking science courses at hunter or some other school that isn't as difficult and you can get all A's is a plus. That is what I am going to do after I graduate next spring too. Definitely work on getting your science GPA up.🙂
