I already posted in WRMC section but I am looking for more DO focused responsed.

Major: Engineering
State: GA
cGPA: 3.55
sGPA: 3.72
MCAT: PS=10, VR=11, BS=10, TOT = 31

EC:
Your usual clubs, about ~800hrs of non-clinical volunteering and ~400hrs of clinical, leadership experience, no hobbies though
Shadowing:
~ 250 hrs with 6 MD specialties. Working on getting a DO shadowing.
Research:
3+ years of research by the time of application with 4 presentations. 1 publication with another in the review process.

Should have 8 LOR's (4 going into a committee package).

I am intrested in staying in northeast and south region.

I think you have a good shot at various D.O.s schools the D.O. schools in your state and O.O.S. D.O.s as long as they are not public and or not region specific.

Also you can apply M.D.

Any DO school you want. Many MD schools.

You have a very good chance with most DO schools. I would also recommend applying to instate MD as well as several mid tier oos.
