Hello everyone,

Recently finished my Junior year and I'm looking for some advice for the MCAT. I'll be taking a gap year and plan on taking my MCAT late January/early February of my senior year. I have taken all the relevant classes except for physics 1 and 2. I'll be taking physics 1 in the fall and physics 2 in the spring.

Right now my plan is to get most of my content review done during this summer and do anki/Uglobe during my fall semester. I'll be taking a relatively light course load besides physics. Then I could spend mid December (after classes are done) until late January (or anytime early in the spring semester) doing practice tests and the AAMC practice materials.

The problem I have is I won't have physics 2 done by then and I'll be fresh out of physics 1 so I wouldn't be able to self study physics 2 or do any of the practice questions until winter break. Honestly feeling super stressed about this and feel like I really messed up my planning.

What would you do in this situation?

Thanks.

It's been a while, but I felt that physics 2 was underrepresented on the exam compared to physics 1. They didn't test orbital stuff or circular motion if I remember correctly, at least in 2020.

Physics II isn't as important as Physics I and you can probably self-study it in 1 month if you plan carefully. On the MCAT Physics II is mostly represented by a handful of equations and problems you need to be able to solve about thermodynamics, optics, electricity, magnetism, and circuits (why circuits? God knows)
