I set T1 as my point of rotation, and my answer, no matter how many times I do it, contradicts the given answer. I'll show you my solution - can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Or if I missed out on anything?

I get 0.8, lemme know if that's right and if it is I'll show you my calcs 😛 I couldn't read everything exactly so just checking first.
 
Yeah you're correct, the answer is 0.8 (D)-

I found the source of my problem -

I set the center of mass to be 0.5 meters, which is the answer from either end, and NOT from T1. The distance of the center of mass from T1 is 0.5-y.

Now my answers are correct.
