I find it confusing if the 1900 characters allowed for each essay includes spaces or not. Does anyone know for sure? 😕

It does include spaces.

I was pretty dang sure it did not include spaces. I presumed it did include spaces just as AMCAS did at the start, and then when I pasted my essay onto the MSU app, I had all kinds of extra characters to use. Turns out it counted characters w/o spaces.

Thanks docab and Szkwicz! I didn't know they cut it off on the onscreen application, so then you know what's submitted or not. 😉
