Need help with school list (3.55/3.72/31/GA)

Hey guys,

I need help with my school list. I need to get down to ~25.

Stats:
cGPA: 3.55
sGPA: 3.72
MCAT: 31 (10/11/10)
State: Georgia


MC Georgia
Mayo medical school
U of Wisconsin
Morehouse
U of NC - Chapel Hill
Wake Forest S of M
Mercer
M C of Wisconsin
Virginia Commonwealth
Emory
U of Louisville
Marshall U
Rush
Wright State U
Rosalind Franklin
U of S. Alabama
New York Medical College

Jefferson Medical College

Also, here is a list of optional schools. Are there any that I should move up or any from the top that I should move down?

Ok,

Get out your MSAR. If your GPA and MCAT are within +/- 2 points of the schools average, keep it. If not throw it out.

For OOS schools left, look at their ratio OOS accepted to IS accepted. If OOS constitute greater than 20% of the class, I would keep it.

You'll definitely be able to trim your class list this way.
 
Are you an african american? If not you could probably drop Morehouse.

That looks like a very realistic list. Follow the above advice and you should be able to whittle it down.

Thanks, but that's what I did to get to down to what you see above. I also used tuition rates and OOS rates. I still need to make the list smaller.
