I think I can't make it this time so have to take DAT again and reapply for next year.
My question is If I get the lower score, will dental schools accept the higher score or the latest one?
Actually, I am planning to apply first and retake DAT later. Can I do this?

what did you score on DAT the first time that u are getting worried to score lower????
i am sure that they will look at both scores as long as it is not expired.

u can apply first and then take the DAT, it is ok...many people do that

I think it depends on the school, but I know that the Texas schools(and I'm pretty sure that most) will look at your latest, not your best. I don't have any stats backing so this is JMO, but I think most people do better the second time around, anyway.

Why even let this creep into your mind?

You won't have this problem if you'd just study for DAT as if your whole life depended on it.
