Hello,

I have a BS degree in Biocheistry (GPA 3.2), 10 years old.
I have to repeat the science courses, on which i am hoping
to do realy well and also the MCAT. How the addmission count my GPA.

How do you know you have to repeat those courses? Is this ten year thing a rule on AMCAS or just something you heard? I'm interested as well. My prereq's are also ten years old (some 11 - 12!). I did get thirty secondaries last year and one interview. I scored a 32 on the MCAT. I would hope Med schools would say that regardless of the time that has passed, I still knew my info from my prereq's.

There are a lot of past threads on this you could search for (esp. on the non-traditionals board). While a few schools do have specific expiration dates for prereqs (ranging between 7 and 10 years), most apparently don't. However if you haven't taken any science courses in a decade, med schools are generally going to see this as problematic, so it is advisable that you at least take some upper level sciences and do well to show you can still hack it in the sciences, even if you have already completed the prerequisites back in the day and done well.
