i was wondering if someone could answer a couple of questions for me...
i went to India and did my MBBS...
i have a cousin there who is about to join BDS...
what are the procedures for becoming liscenced in the US to be a dentist afterwards?
And how common is it? How hard is it?
Is it worth doing your BDS in India and then coming here?
I know the scope for Dentists here in the US is great... but is the road to getting liscenced worth it?
I heard two years of Dental school have to be repeated here...
and the NDBE exams?
What's the order for that?
Any info would be greatly appreciated...
Especially if there is someone who has completed the journey and is practicing...

i did my bds from india too...after u finish yr bds from india u have to give yr part1 and part2 ndbes here ....and get admitted to an univ for and advancestadning program or Internatinoal dentiat program.for 2 yrs -3yrs depending upon tthe school u get admmittted too well it is worth it if u wnat to stay here in the US but if u plan to go back or so it would be better to do MDS here or perceptership programs

well u need a good score and a good garde point avergare not only that but u need to give a interview and aslo take a practile exam before they gran to a admisison .... and ya u need to give yr licence ecxam after u garduate from the school to practise

boston tufts , penn state , columbia
there r a few like the one in florida, gainsville whic requires u too have a Green card or abe a premanet resident ..... if u will sreach this froum u shal get to know the others too
