Hello fellow students here is a question for you. First I'll give a little background info. I have an associate degree in Biomedical Electronics(3.8 GPA) and when I took this degree I took all college parallel courses. My question to you all is should I transfer my English 1 and 2 to my new university? I got A's in both classes but I am not sure if Medical Schools look down on Undergrads taking some required courses at community colleges. I also feel that I am only average in my verbal skills and want to know what you all think about this. BY THE WAY, I really don't like English. It is definitly my least favorite subject. Thanks in advance for the advise.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's not like you took Orgo at junior college. Do well on your MCAT verbal, which will show that you are good enough. I don't think you really need to risk things by taking more advanced English classes if you don't feel comfortable.

It doesn't matter if you transfer or not, when you apply, you must report all your grades from any college you attended at any time.

People with credits from community college get into med schools all the time. However, if you have a specific school in mind, I would recommend calling them to find out what they think.
