Has anyone tried thinkwell? I know there are ALOT of videos and about 10 minutes each but what i'd like to know is do you think its beneficial/helpful? Im not really in a time crunch/rush to take the DAT again so i have a few months to study, do you think utilizing thinkwell is a good source for bio? Last time i took the DAT i studied from Cliffs AP bio and i got a 19 on bio. I'm going to try to supplement my cliffs with thinkwell this time? I'm not sure though, any input?

I used thinkwell for one of my biology courses and honestly I didn't like it. There are distractions within each presentation: basically a professor draws diagrams and stuff to explain concepts. It may be helpful, but I remember avoiding it. If you don't have much time, you could buy review books and skim the headings.

Hmmm... double posting in both the Predental and DAT forums to get more responses... not cool.

Here's what I said in the other forum (for those that search for thinkwell bio in the DAT forum):

Thinkwell Bio is amazing. Unfortunately you can't get all of the videos for free anymore (my breakdown needs to be updated). Still, if you're not a Bio major and you haven't taken classes that cover plants, taxonomy, etc., I would fork out the cash and pay for the course.

Chad's plus Thinkwell Bio is a solid foundation for the whole science section. I say go for it.

haha thank you for your input! And i posted here first on this forum but nobody was responding since this forums kind of dead nowadays so thats why i posted on predental also. Thanx

I'm a pretty big supporter of the thinkwell programs. I buy each subject to help supplement my regular classes. Yes, they are a bit time consuming but they do work great for explaining the material. Theoretically, you won't be able to go through all the videos but if there's a few subjects you need refreshed on, than go for it.

I also think you'll be quite surprised at how much their biology product supplements each and every one of your biology courses.
