3.4 GPA
1st DAT - 17, applied as a junior
2nd DAT year later - 21, applying to same school again.


What do you guys think are my chances?

sGPA: 3.6, last 60 hours is much better than first 30
Shadowed around 150 hours, pure shadowing not working,
Volunteer periodically at free health care clinic,
Have brothers who graduated frOM OU med school

I have only applied to OU due to certain situations.. Beet to stay in state with costs of tuition, vicinity...

You should be fine for OU. Other than that if you want to secure a DS spot, I'd suggest applying ~8 schools for your stats.

OU = Oklahoma? Your stats are at right around the mean. You're neither a great applicant nor a poor applicant. Chance of getting in somewhere? High. But admission ONLY to OU is far from a sure thing.

If you really wish to pursue dentistry, you need to expand your list significantly unless you have some sort of backup plan in place. I hope it doesn't consist of putting your life on hold and applying only to OU every year until they take you.
