I am in desperate need of some opinions...
I applied to a number of different postbacs/masters programs. One particular program starts in < a month and I was accepted off their waitlist earlier today. The program allows for conditional acceptance into their medical school when complete. It would also require me to move 1300 miles from where I currently live.
Is it worth it to just go there or wait it out for a different program? Picking up my entire life in > a month is really hard but there is the carrot(med school acceptance) dangling at the end....
In case this makes a difference: GPA 3.41, MCAT 24

Thank you!

Conditional with a 24 MCAT? Me thinks not

However, if under some crazy set of circumstances they do allow you to go with a 24 MCAT then you should take it

If you don't mention the program, nobody can really help you. Some programs have so much fine print on their conditional acceptances that they're worthless, others have guaranteed interviews that are essentially guaranteed admissions if you are a normal human being. I'm not sure what else you're waiting out?

The conditions are to score at least a 32 on the new MCAT and maintain a 3.5GPA for guaranteed acceptance into their med school.

How and when are you planning on getting that 32?

I would need to get it before July of 2015. The school has MCAT prep as part of the program to help students get to that goal.

The new MCAT isn't graded on the same scale.

The lowest you can score is somewhere ~100.
