Need some hope

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know or have been through getting dismissed from optometry school. And later applied to other schools and get accepted. If so was it the same school that dismissed you or a different school? I really would like some insight on any schools that have accepted students from prior dismissal. I really love optometry and do not see myself doing anything else.

Why were you dismissed? What school were you dismissed from?

A person in my UW class was dismissed but later was admitted to and graduated from one of the better U.S schools.

Life happens. Everyone loves a good comeback story. If you have a legitimate reason for your dismissal, I'm sure it wont fall on deaf ears
