Do I have a chance in any Dental schools. Pls need a honest response.

I applied to NYU twice, they didnt consider my application. I had MPH degree with internship in the local health department in their fluoride and sealant program and also 1 year of shadowing with a dentist when I applied NYU what should I do now. Any suggestion?

87 is quite a nice score, 3.08 not that great, 100 is ok, but they're just numbers, you've got to find other stuff to boost up your resume and experience.

Have you done shadowing? How many years of experience do you have? Have you applied to other schools? Are you planning on taking part 2 soon?

Keep going, keep pushing, you'll get there! Good luck.

87 is definitely not d score that u didnt get invite from nyu, bcoz i hv personally seen in the interviews there were many candidates with 85/86 , though ur gpa is not that great but u have mph to mask that thing plus with ur shadowing exp n mph u shud have an edge over the freshers...my advice for u is that first c if u have a nice gpa in ur mph degree( i hope u dont have low gpa there)??? , then work again on ur sop n lors( u can take advice from others) ... though u cn giv part 2 ( bt if u think only fr nyu dey changing to DAT.,so nt of much use)
. rest just add the maximum experience u can in ur cv , do some cde programs, volunteer options..dnt giv dem the impression that u have left dentistry.
and finally , after submiting ur application , just dont lay back , show them interest by asking about ur application status wen d invites start coming( its my personal exp)

gudluck!!

Improve your SOP and keep calling them up n letting them know that you are very interested in there program. You have good stats , dont give up or get disheartened.

Are you just applying to NYU?
I think your resume may get you in Cali schools too. Give part 2. Try TOEFL one more time. See if you can improve the score. work hard on practicals.
NYU prefers candidate with higher GPA. you can't change that now. Hope you had good GPA in MPH. Good luck to you👍
