hey... i just thought of this, and looked for a medical forum

i suffer from the worst allegies
and since u guys are med students, i hope u can help

i take 10mg of zyrtec which doesn't help

i added sudafed decongestive
to try and help calm the stuffy nose i get from the allergies and the sneezing

that doesn't work either

got some flonase nose spray to add to the previous combo and NOTHING

i feel like everytime i sneeze my back is going to break. its not an unbearable pain, just nerve recking and un comfortable

anything i can do to atleast EASE the sneezing?

see a doctor and be specific about your problem. medical students are supremely unqualified to give any medical advice, in particular via a web-based forum.

Emphasis on the "see" part. I really hope there aren't doctors who try to give specific medical advice and treament plans without examing the patient.

Web forums can be good places to discuss interesting cases and management options among health care professionals. However, I agree that it is dangerous to give specific medical advice without an examination or talking with the patient.

In regards to allergies, I recommend seeing an allergist (MD specialized in allergy/immunology) who will determine what medications are best for you. Furthermore, you may need skin testing to determine the specific things you're allergic too. Avoidance of the things that you're most allergic to is a good first step in therapy. 🙂 An evaluation by an allergist will also determine if you're a candidate for immunotherapy.

closing. posted in multiple forums.

also, SDN forums are not for answering medical questions of this kind. you really need to ask your personal physician.
