soooooo.... I finally find myself accepted to my first choice school, I am finishing my final two courses I need to graduate, my full-time job is going better than it has in years-----but alas, I feel as if it will all slip away any minute.

I find myself going crazy thinking I absolutely must get an A in these last two courses, which I purposely saved for my last semester cuz they don't interest me at all. I'm paranoid that my job is gonna fire me (really for no apparent reason).

How do you all hold it together? Anyone else feel a bit stressed, like a lot is riding on this last semester?

On a side note, how crucial are these last two courses?

Yeah, I'm sure the guy created an account, posted quite a few times, and then all along he had the plan of trolling two years later 🙄

But seriously OP, the hard part if over!! You don't need to get A's in these last few classes, just make sure to pass them and you'll be fine. Just enjoy your last semester before the real fun part begins 😀. This really should be the least stressful semester of your collegiate career, you shouldn't be worrying at this point.

Solution: If your job does fire you(I don't know why they would) you are going to need to quit in a few months anyway. I might consider talking to your boss and determining an end date for your employment. As for your last two classes you don't need to get A's just pass them.

In summation: Don't worry so much and enjoy the time before med school starts.

"Neurosis, also known as psychoneurosis or neurotic disorder, is a term that refers to any mental imbalance that causes distress, but, unlike a psychosis or some personality disorders, does not prevent or affect rational thought."
-Wikipedia

everyone is a little neurotic. as long as you're not psychotic and you continue to function normally, you're fine.

do well in your classes, eric, but don't obsess. if you get too stressed, then i'd suggest you take up a hobby, buy an xbox/PS3/wii, exercise more, get a girlfriend, party more with your buddies...anything besides spending time on SDN.

So what your saying is your life is going perfectly?
