I have to questions regarding admission process at the University of Nevada and Duke.
* Is it true that University of Nevada, school of medicine only accepts US citizens, not permanent residents?
* Does not Duke process applications for those who don't have a year of calculus? what is you only have a semester of Calc?
Thanks for your help.

<-- Flipping thru UNSOM secondary... no mention of the resident alien (i think that's what you mean?) status. Just a ton of paperwork asking me to confirm that i've been a resident of Nevada for the last century or so.

I don't know officially how Duke decides whether or not you've satisfied the requirement, but I do know that I only took one semester of calculus in college, and I still got into Duke, and matriculated. Now I DID have "placement" into this calc course because of my AP score, but I didn't have "credit." So I basically took the 2nd semester part of the year long intro calc course at my college, and at least from Duke's point of view that was enough (or perhaps they didn't notice?). Maybe it ultimately depends on the level of calculus you've taken.
