For Current and Future Applicants,

I just want to let everyone know that you CAN get into a good medical school even if you:

1. Have taken the MCAT 3 times,
2. Need to reapply for the second time,
3. Spent 5 years to get your college degree,
4. Have gotten a C+ on your transcript,
5. Are an August MCATer,
6. And most importantly, have spent >500s of hours playing WC3 and FF11.

I just found out that I was accepted to the NYU MD/PhD Program today. Final word, no matter what they say, believe in yourself and never give up~!

still possibly even with 5 Cs. which i think 4 are in sciences prereqs.

It Can be done

1. Have taken the MCAT 4 times (despite getting 7 at the highest in verbal!)
2. Need to reapply for the 4th time,
3. Spent 5 years to get your Pharmacology & Toxicology degree (but it was a 5 year degree since it was a double specialist program),
4. Have gotten 0 (C+)s (thankthfully) on your transcript
5. Spent time doing one course (paid for by company) at Community College.
6. And most importantly, spent years volunteering with the homeless and sick in hospitals.

It can be done, despite:

Have gotten 5 C+s in science/pre-req courses on your transcript (B- average for the chem sequence, C+ average in math, and B-/B average in physics).
