Bump!

This is actually the blog I wrote for a while during my last year of residency. It got shelved for various reasons -- board exams, family stuff, a master's program, etc. -- but I've decided resurrect it at the encouragement of my wife and several friends (including @Goro). I just wrote my first post in five years, which is up for your reading enjoyment. (Warning: it's a heavy one, because why the hell not?) From now on, when I write something I'll post a note to the Forum Members - *~*~*~*~Official Pre-Allo Social Thread~*~*~*~*.

One note: several experiences during my residency resulted in PTSD, and the blog was part of how I worked through that. The internet isn't a safe space, but courtesy is still appreciated.
