With the way med schools and mcat are heading in regards to social sciences, do you think it will help my app this cycle that I did a double Bachelors consecutively in a social science like sociology/criminology and natural science like biology

Nope. But if someone takes the MCAT in 2015 it could help with that.
 
Choosing a major based solely on your assumption of what medical schools will "like" is a bad idea. Major in what you're interested in because you'll be more likely to get a higher GPA and not become complacent and bitter through undergrad.
 
I didn't choose it for medical school. I originally wanted to be a medical examiner so I did a bachelor in biology and a bachelor in criminology. Already graduated with both. Just wondered if it would help. That's all
