Hi all!
We've launched a remote research collaborative for premeds called "OnTrac." Basically, we pair highly motivated premeds with physician-researchers at top 10 medical schools. Then, we coach the students up through publication.
Our current panel of researchers includes an orthopedic cancer surgeon and the founder of WashU's public health division. Among others.
This is a non-profit organization. Our first cycle of admissions will be completely free, and we'll remain free so long as the structure is sustainable. Our mission is to level the playing field by bringing research opportunities to any hardworking premed. Becoming a doctor shouldn't be a pay-to-play system.
There is already substantial interest in the program and we unfortunately have limited availability. To be transparent, we estimate a ~10% acceptance rate this first cycle. But we encourage all interested students to apply -- we select based on potential, not just previous experience.
We're interested to hear your thoughts! Comment any questions below and we'll try our best to respond promptly.
