Look at the program's first time pass rate on the American Board of Pediatrics exam. It's 33%.

I'm sure I'll get the usual heehaw that passing the exam is up to the individual etc. However, I suspect that this miserable performance indicates zero teaching and study time and maximum scutwork. Good luck.

Before you read anymore of my drivel, please bear in mind that I'm a CPA and that I'm just gathering data for my daughter who might apply for a peds residency.
You should look at the cities where the programs are situated. There is a very good chance that you'd end up practicing where you do your residency. If you hate the town, that might disqualify it right there.
Look at the salaries paid at the various programs and don't forget to deduct social security, medicare, federal income tax and state income tax for someone in your marital/economic situation. Salaries vary by as much as $15,000 per year. Will you be able to live in the town at the net salary paid by the residency?
If you are interested in a subspecialty of pediatrics, you should see if that subspecialty is offered as a fellowship at the programs you are examining. Peds fellowships aren't that competitive to get but this still might be a consideration.
