Why would you say any of those classes are "actual" interests, whereas other people's classes cannot be part of actual interests?

Orangic Chem 1
Bio 1
Tennis
Algebra

NOTHING

...done grajiated with a BS in Biology and an AB in Political Science on the 15th.

3x Senior Information Science courses...aka group work, databases, and that crap out the wazoo. Chem, Physiology, TA/Grading for a 400 level Human Computer interaction course, research/thesis/internship. comes out to about 17 credits..but the ta/grading deal isn't a regular credit..I get paid 14 bucks an hour for that.

Spring 2007:

Differential Equations -- 3hrs
Physics II -- 4hrs
Statics and Dynamics-- 3 hrs
Honors Research -- 3 hrs

And I might take Intro to Thermal Science, 2 hrs.

I haven't decided yet.

6th semester:
Liberal Arts Major

M 340L: Lin al
PHL 3XX: Darwin and Design (a Philosophy class taught by a bio prof.... get ready for ID bashing woooO!)
HIN 312: 2nd year 2nd semester hindi
TC 357: molecular biology / epidemiology
NEU 385: Theoretical/Computational Neuroscience (the actual title is Synaptic Basis of Learning and Memory but the other title sounds cooler)
and neurosci research
total 18 hours
expected GPA: 0.01

GPA PADDING! GPA PADDING!

🙂

It depends. I took Beginners Piano and Aerobics this semester and they can be stressful too (too time consuming for a freaking 1 hour class).

Although in the end practicing piano is still better than studying for molecular genetics.

Chem II (5 cr.)
Physics II (4 cr.)
Calc II (5 cr.)
Pathogenic Microbiology (4 cr.)

Chem 2 with lab
Calculus 2
Tennis
Intermediate Guitar
Theatre Appreciation

Evolution
Survey of Organisms (w/ lab)
Sex and Gender
Science and Literature (honors... dunno how that's gonna work out. A weird interdisciplinary thing)
Psychopathic Offenders (a seemingly interesting criminal justice class)
History of the Modern Middle East

An interesting semester, hopefully. 🙂 I wanted digital photography, since that is a huge hobby of mine, but alas, maybe some other semester. I had planned to take Calc 2 this semester, but Evolution is an 8am class MWF, Calc 2 is 8am MTWThF, sooo... yeah. I won't be taking Calc 2 ever, the way things have worked out. But that doesn't bother me!

Biology II and lab
Chemistry II and lab
Music Theory IV (Last one!)
Ear Training IV (Another last one!)
Symphonic Wind Ensemble
Applied Trumpet Lessons
Concert Band (Easy A)
Recital and Concert Attendance
Deductive Logic (Though this might help with verbal MCAT score)

18 hours as of now...even though I swore I'd never take this much after this past semester...I love music, but I'm ready to get the degree and not look at another sheet of music for a while...

Chem 1
Calc 2
Zoology

how is your school letting you take I and II of two subjects at once. We have blocks on our registration system that won't let you sign up for it, and if I went and asked the bitter secretary's in whatever dept. office I went to would chew me out for even dreaming of such a thing.

Anyway, doing that would be hard for me, I would take the level I courses and just sign up for some easy weight training class or something that would be an easy A. thats just my opinion. good luck.

if you were to eliminate one sciience class from this list, what would it be?

the Bio I and Bio II are two different subjects....i know it's in a sequence but you dont need to know I for II...........true, the registration wont let you take both, but if you petition to take both of them, it wouldnt be problem........that's what i did......

6 classes = 0 time for yourself. That class list is just asking for "F"s

I would drop bio II, I loved my bio I class. It was a great introduction to biology and chemistry.

What I didn't understand about electronegativity in general chem was supplemented in biology when we went over the electron transport chain.

Electronegativity, dipole moments, dipole-dipole bonds....
Good times.

Biology I
Gen Chemistry I
US history up to 1877(3 hrs-satisfying history req)
French Coversational/Composition(3 hrs-req for minor)
Oral Communications(3 hrs-general req)

total of 15 hours...if I could add a political science class, I would just 'cause they're easy A's🙂

And to the person with 3 science classes...After experiencing 2 sciences with 2 labs(in total 17 hours), I realized just how difficult it would be to maintain a high gpa with that schedule. Even if I could override the restriction, I'd hesitate to take Bio I AND II together. And you have Organic Chemistry to go with that?? I'm not saying it's impossible..but unless you have hours and hours and hours to yourself, and no job/volunteering to do, I'd say it'd be hell on you. You might make it through..but you'd be burnt out. Especially during the finals weeks...

You what? My philosophy is: if I'm going to learn it in med school anyway, why do I even bother learning it here in college? If I'm going to learn biology in med school, why bothering taking bio now that I will forget anyway?
so,
For those who hates physics:
