Next Wave of Interviews?

Do you guys think it'll start Monday with the release of the MSPE or it might take a few days as programs have a chance to actually read the MSPE?

At this point they might have done most of the legwork and have people separated into certain "tiers" and might just glance at the MSPE to make sure nothing major sticks out.

I could see them potentially sending out interviews within hours or possibly taking days. You never know. I'd expect next week to start picking up as far as interview offers go, though.

I'm guessing that things will start getting crazy in mid October, but I don't really know. I'm actually surprised that people with incomplete apps get any offers at all... really makes you wonder how important LORs/Dean's Letters are. I guess some programs just assume that at a certain board score +/- AOA, the likelihood of any red flags from letters/MSPE is low.

I only have 2 interviews so far and I'm think more will start coming in by the end of next week. My application was complete on the 15th, except for the MSPE which was uploaded yesterday. One school sent out a note saying invites will come out after the 5th.

I have only 2 interviews so far. I thought the process would go much faster despite MSPE letters being released today. Hopefully more to come.

Received a few today, hopefully you all start hearing soon. I think some places were basically waiting on my MSPE to make sure there were no crazy red flags.

I'm applying to IM, BTW. Other specialties are slower about invites (from what I've been told by advisors), so not trying to freak anyone out.

I still have some two programs who haven't updated since 9/30. Heck, there's even one who hasn't downloaded anything from my app yet...
