Hi everyone!
Recently received a spot at the NIDDK in Bethesda, MD. Applying to MSTP programs this upcoming cycle.
I have some general questions for those who have had experiences at the NIH:
1. How do I make the most of my experiences while I'm here (10 weeks)?
2. Although 10 weeks is barely enough time to get extremely involved in a project, were you able to make a serious enough contribution for authorship?
3. How were the seminars or workshops for NIH SIP interns, if any?
4. In terms of the upcoming application cycle, would it generally be too late to utilize a rec letter from this PI?
5. Any other tips/advice concerning NIH SIP?
