NJ programs: Morristown and St. Barnabas

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Have you interviewed at these places yet?

I went to a Morristown interview. From what I gather it's a nice area to live...but quiet. Some how the hospital however is pretty big, level I trauma. Seems like a great program, but from what Ive heard the teaching/lectures are sparse. They make up for that in volume though, the residents work pretty hard, not much/any sleep while on call. I think they all pass the boards, but you might want to ask.

I haven't interviewed at St.B's.

I know a guy who did his residency there:

- call is brutal
- formal teaching (conferences etc) is so and so

He passed his boards, got a good fellowship and now holds a faculty position at one of the top 3 academic departments in the country.

Thanks guys. How about St. B's?

F_w,

By chance do you have any info on Christiana Care in DE. Just curious because I'm having trouble ranking them Vs. Morristown.

Thanks,
CB

Sorry, no idea.
