My test is in 10 days and I just scored a 180 on the CBSSA 1. What are my chances of passing and does anyone have any advice? I really just want to pass.

While these tests are not supposed to be predictive they usually are accurate withing +/- 5 pts. for most test takers. You're right on the edge with that score and depending on how you take tests and how much you study the next 10 days you might not pass.

I would suggest postponing your exam for another week and sitting down with FA for that whole time. Memorizing a few more facts out of FA certainly won't get you a 230 in that amount of time, but it should be more than enough to get you up 5 or 10 points into pass range.

Best of luck

I second that advice. At this point there's not a whole lot more you can do and your score will probably in that range but I would memorize FA as much as possible, it will probably get you that pass but is unlikely to improve your score by >10-15 points.

I took NBME Form 1 one day before my exam scored 186 on it. I failed the real thing (172/71).

If it's possible, I would postpone your date (by 2-4 weeks). Go over First Aid over and over and take NBME 2 which is a better predictor than Form 1 (Form 1 is supposed to be the easiest of the 4 forms).

The answers to Forms 1 and 2 are available through a link on this forum. Going over the answers would be very helpful.

Hope this helps and good luck 👍
