Hey Guys!!

Sooo I've been declined at Arizona and Temple and still havent heard from Boston or Creighton. Are schools still handing out invites for interviews?

My overall is 3.2 and my science is 3.0🙁 As for DAT I have AA 18 PA 20 Sci 17. They aren't that strong so that is why I'm kinda freaking out

I also applied to Iowa, but my application has been put on hold. I've been in contact with the admissions lady and she said I won't know until Feb.

not knowing anything else about you it is guessing game for anyone....
pretty safe assumptions from this forum
GPA on the low side should be covered by high DAT- you might want to retake and should aim for 20 +
with those stats I would apply to at least 15 schools, $$ permitting
apply really early and get great PS, EC and LOE
none of this will help you now but if things do not work out for this cycle...
Iowa is very competitive for OOS
BU will be interviewing for while yet so don't give up on them...
you might want to visit Creighton later in the cycle, meet with adcom and discuss your application

I am in the same boat. I have roughly a 3.3 cumgpa, 3.2 scigpa, 21 TS, 21 PAT, 20 AA. I was rejected from temple, loma linda, nova, asdoh.

Waiting on:
BU
UMDNJ
Case (I've read that they're all done so i'm going to go ahead and say rejection)
NYU
VCU
Columbia

I feel like some are definitely already rejections I just want them to let me know already!!

But I am very curious about BU, NYU, VCU and if they are done yet? Especially VCU.

Pick a school where you are waitlisted, contact the professors and offer to assist in their research. If you can start researching before February, you're practically in.

well i submitted like in july/august but there was a hold-up in a summer course grade and my LORs which got submitted in like .. oct/nov so yeah .. i don't mind i really want to just have to re-apply next cycle and only apply to like 5 schools.

skylark: really? do you think i have a chance with my stats at nova?

after my senior year, i hope to bring it up to a 3.5+ both overall and science. i am trying to get consecutive 4.0s my last semesters we'll see how that pans out!
