Hello

I took my PCAT last September 2011, so I had to have Pearson send my PCAT score to PharmCAS again. They sent it on the 8th of October, but it still hasn't shown up on my application. I have been in contact with the PharmCAS people, but their response time is slow, and it is taking an unreasonable amount of time to get this resolved.

Anyway, my true question is if I submit my application, will schools still be able to get it? I want to apply for some schools whose deadline is Nov. 1st, and some are early admission schools. The people at PharmCAS said I can submit it without the PCAT score, but I am worried that I will end up not getting this taken care of for a while.

Anyone else have this problem? Anybody submit the application without the PCAT score with positive/negative results?

Thanks

Did you include your PCAT CID on your PharmCAS account info section? That may be the reason for the delay. Yes, you can submit your application without your PCAT scores. PharmCAS will forward your PCAT scores to the school once it receives it.

You should explain your PCAT situation to the schools you are applying. Also, make sure if the schools with the Nov 1st deadline want the PharmCAS "submitted" by November 1st or "mailed" by November 1st. That's a big difference.

It will probably take PharmCAS up to 5 weeks to calculate your GPAs and mail your app to the schools after you submit your PharmCAS app. In that case, you won't meet the deadline.

It just shows "deadline" in the pharmacy designations.

My PCAT ID is in there, and has been verified many, many times.

I guess I'm just going to have to submit it.

Thanks
