how pleasantly surprised i was to find pitt and columbia don't have secondary applications! i didn't even know that existed!

come to think of it, are there any other schools out there without supplemental applications or easy, essay-less ones? cuz i want to apply to more of these schools 😛

A lot of them don't have essay based supplementals.
You should research schools you're interested in applying to see if they have this same sort of supplemental process.

That being said, I wouldn't discount schools because they have additional essays.. you might be discrediting a school you'd be completely happy attending. Just think of the additional essays as a chance to show that school more about you than a generic AADSAS form can describe.

nothing like working hard for 4 years of undergrad so that you can get lazy when it comes the one of the biggest decisions of your academic life.....

As far as I know, Pitt, Temple, and Case don't have essay based supplementals. Just an FYI.

Yeah, I agree with the above poster. Pretty lazy of you, but I can see how the essays could get overwhelming if you apply to 15+ schools.

wow, i was not expecting the negativity! of course i wouldn't skip out on applying to schools just because they have a difficult secondary. im just saying it was nice after coming home from a long day at work expecting to do some secondaries only to find that some were already done!

and to swine and paul, i don't appreciate being called lazy. i'm working 50-60 hrs a week here on two jobs, and it's not easy finding time to even work on my secondaries for the 12 schools im applying to. cut me some slack, why don't you?

doesn't anyone else enjoy schools that are secondary-less? or is it just me?

No kidding, I don't care where I get my degree from, the school doesn't matter do me..as long as i become a dentist. So if a school has an easier application process, i'd rather apply to them. So seriously, just tell us what schools don't have secondary applications! Please and thank you.
