Primaries submitted end of June
Secondaries submitted end of July and first week of August

MCAT: 512 [128 x 128 x 128 x 128]
GPA: 3.6 cumulative and 3.6 science with upward trend and A's in most upper levels

Do I have a chance or no?

Edits:

- 3 semesters teaching assistant (biology) and going for a 4th
- 1.5 years of research with a poster
- 150 clinical paid hours
- 150-200 clinical volunteering
- 100 non clinical volunteering
- freshman mentor for 3 semesters now
- 110 hours of shadowing split between gastroenterologist and family physician
- No IAs
- 2 rec letters from science professors I know really well, 1 from MD I shadowed

Your stats are better than mine and I have multiple II. What are your EC’s? Maybe you are lacking in that department?

You could get an II tomorrow, or next March.

But you should be working on Plan B. It's not too late for TCOM or UIW.

Better ECs than me! I just have 1500+ clinical paid hrs since I’m a scribe. Nothing much else.

2 letters of recommendation from science professors I know really well
1 letter from an MD I shadowed
110 hours shadowing (gastroenterologist and family medicine)

My essays I thought were decent, i take writing courses and used to write/submit short stories to journals

Yup! Already applied to DOs! I have a gap semester and I am going to be researching full time (hopefully paid), still in the middle of choosing a lab and will also be TAing for a biology upper level!

Also currently preparing for the next cycle since i know nov is kinda late
 
I wouldnt give up just yet. Yes pre-match is soon, but after browsing old 2017-2018 pre-allo threads, II can still go out after it.
