No Update on Application in over 3 months, should I contact school?

for all the schools that have left me in radio silence since august, would it be helpful to follow up with the office of admissions to check on the application?

I wouldn't contact them unless you have some sort of update to your application. You're probably looking at a collection of silent rejections

Agree. However, if you get an interview in the area of one of those schools, it doesn't hurt to call and say, "Hey, I'll be in the area on this day, and I'm very interested in arranging an interview at your school."
