So I have all the boxes checked. Clinical volunteering, research, grades, etc.

Except non clinical volunteering.

I’m applying next year, will have between 150-200 hours helping refugees. Honestly an amazing experience, but it’s late at night on weekdays, I’m a commuter and sometimes gotta be picked up so I can’t stay so late.

However, I have significant leadership experience (including being president) with an campus chapter of a nonprofit org (big name legit one) where I literally set up fundraisers and educate members about issues around the world that need help (refugee crisis, and more). Helped build this org up from its low point and now it’s doing pretty good (prolly one of my most meaningful activities).

Would this in any way help my low(ish) non clinical hours? I’m studying for the MCAT rn so I’ll try to do a lot next semester but thoughts?

Well, 150-200 hours helping refugees face-to-face is good. Nothing to sneeze at and, I'd guess, putting you above the 50th percentile. Having a leadership position in a campus group would go under "leadership" and that will be noted as non-clinical but not direct service. Still, having leadership and teamwork experiences are often overlooked and very important.
