non-dental prescriptions

so.....i've had family/friends ask me to prescribe some non dental related stuff for them (so they can save some $$ visiting their physician)....obviously I wouldn't prescribe something that I wasn't too sure about, but what about the HPV vaccine? or Vit b12 shots?? Any input would be great

This is practicing outside the scope of dentistry. You can get in trouble. Ask yourself is it worth everything you have done and spent over the last 4 years for an HPV vaccine?

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of, the possibility of getting in trouble, it certainly is NOT worth my license, guess I just need to be more firm in responding to these requests.🙂
