Do med schools care if I take my history 1 and English 2 requirements at a community college instead of at my university? I'm broke and would rather get them done for less money

School dependent... SLU for example does CC credits on a case-by-case basis. In-fact, I am wondering how many of my humanities/social studies credits have been accepted there since I have received an II. (I have posted in the specific thread for SLU as well)

I went to community college for two years and did all “core requirements” there. Then transferred to four-year and took organic chemistry and upper level bio. I was accepted to a great medical school in 2016. No one at any of my interviews mentioned community college, but I didn’t apply to any schools that seemed iffy on CC based on the MSAR. I had a 4.0/99%ile with hardcore clinical research and service ECs.

Edit: great CC 10 minutes from my house, 3-5k/semester

I actually contacted my state medical school and they said that they were fine with CC then going to a 4 year. However, what they said they didn't like was a student starting at CC, transferring to a 4 year, then going back to CC to take some of the "harder" pre-req courses (ie physics /orgo)
